Our Progress

The Memorial committee met with the parks and zoning committee to discuss possible location on main street between the library and the park. Awaiting response from the Parks and Zoning committee at this time.

We started meeting with different Granite companies to narrow down our design details a little farther.

We had our first annual Music Fest, it was such a big hit, we plan on doing it every year!!

We officially got the green flag from the City of New Prague for our purposed location next to the library on main street.

We offically got our hands dirty and place our first sign…
“Future Home of New Prague Veteran’s Memorial”

We have finally signed on with a General Contractor, Appro Development out of Lakeville, Mn.
We’re excited to start grinding away at the finer details of our design

Cement and pillings are placed

Landscaping, further cement work, as well as cement painting completed. Flag poles are places additional to the lighting for the site. 

Engraved granite, benches, soilder statue and eagle are placed.
